Submission Guidelines

Follow these guidelines carefully to ensure your abstract and technical paper are properly structured and formatted before submission.

Important: These guidelines apply to all submissions. Papers that do not meet the formatting and structural requirements will be returned for revision before the committee review begins. Please review the Evaluation Criteria in parallel to ensure your paper satisfies all review checkpoints.

Title & Author Information

The title of your paper should be short, specific, and informative, ideally between 10 and 15 words. It should clearly communicate the subject and scope of the work without being vague or overly broad.

  • Keep the title short, specific, and informative (10–15 words ideal).
  • Include the author's full name, position, department, and affiliation.
  • Add a short bio (2–3 sentences) if required by the organization.

Abstract

The abstract is the first impression of your paper. It must be a single paragraph of 100–200 words that gives readers a quick and accurate understanding of the paper's main contribution.

  • One paragraph consisting of 100–200 words.
  • Summarize key ideas, objectives, methods, and conclusions.
  • Should give readers a quick understanding of the article's main contribution.

Keywords

Keywords help categorize your paper and make it discoverable. Select 4–6 words that accurately represent the core themes of your work.

  • 4–6 words that represent your article's core themes.
  • Examples: "Digital Transformation, Innovation, Refinery Technology, Operational Excellence".

Main Body Structure

The main body of your paper must follow a clear, logical structure. Each section serves a specific purpose and must be clearly labeled with headings and subheadings.

    Introduction / Context: Define the background, problem, or motivation for the paper.

    Objective or Purpose: Clarify what the paper aims to present or analyse.

    Main Discussion / Content: Present facts, analysis, data, or case study. Use headings and subheadings for clarity. Include visuals, tables, or figures.

    Results / Insights / Recommendations: Highlight findings, benefits, or practical applications.

Formatting Requirements

All submitted papers must adhere to the following formatting standards. Papers that do not meet these requirements may be returned for revision before review.

Submission Package

Your complete submission package must include all of the following items. Incomplete packages will not be forwarded for review.

  • Main article file, named using the format: "AuthorName_Title.docx".
  • Author profile including bio, photo, and contact information.
  • Any supporting images or figures (high resolution, clearly labelled).
  • An introductory email summarizing your paper in 6 sentences.
